What is La Squadra?
La Squadra is a group of minor antagonists from the anime Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Part 5. For the sake of context, this part focuses on a mafia (Passione) in Italy in the year 2001. La Squadra is a branch of Passione, the group responsible for carrying out assassinations.

Why do I Like La Squadra?
The short answer is I got hit with the autism beam in early 2019 and haven't let go since then. The long answer is that I liked their "underdog" status. They are a group of misfits that are underpaid and underappreciated. This is something angsty 16-year-old me really related to, as many angsty teenagers do. I can also get kind of chummy and say that these character's role in my life at the time really prevented me from going in a shitty direction.
What I mean by that is that the show in general have a lot of themes of perseverence and resolve, which are things that I really lacked. As a depressed kid in a shitty household, who definitely felt like an underdog, to see (very cool) people push on despite really shitty conditions was inspiring I guess.
I also really appreciate the rich fanon work that was done for La Squadra, as we barely get any information about the characters in the actual anime. Most of what I know about these characters come from fanfic, fanart, and headcanons I've seen over the years. There is something really special about people latching onto a character that has maybe two speaking lines and then creating an entire universe for them.

My Scrungles
This is an unfinished bit, but I want to potentially make pages specifically for my favs from La Squadra (cough Prosciutto cough)
